Lucky for us, Snoopy Paws Cafe is pretty near to our University. About a 10-15 minute cab ride and we made it there. Though it’s on the outskirts around 20 km from the city’s center I found it a place worth visiting again. I loved the spot so much as to mention it in my Bangalore travel guide. Here goes my Snoopy Paws Cafe review!
I haven’t visited all the dog cafes in Bangalore yet but in overall, all of them are, more or less, the same. Before anything, let’s talk about the pricing first. As a dog lover, I’ll talk about the dogs first, then food. So in case you’re here to know about the food, skip right to it.
I’d never been to a dog’s cafe before. I wasn’t looking forward to it either, but a bud of mine was finding for one for some time and he found this one.
Pricing in Snoopy Paws Cafe
The menu at Snoopy Paws Cafe has changed from a year ago when I visited. To those confused, this is the updated menu that I saw when I visited recently:
The last time I visited, the menu had a Pasta category which we ordered from. But this time, the menu is minimalistic with sandwiches, burgers, and pizzas. And these are pretty great too!
This time, we got the corn-and-mushroom sandwich and a pizza and it was a decent meal. Speaking of pricing, it costs around 700-800 rupees for two.
Unlike before, there’s now an entry fee of 300 rupees. This is a cover charge to whatever eateries you purchase. With most menu items with a range of Rs. 150 to 400, it usually does cost over Rs. 300 to have a meal here.
Previously, to enter and play with the dogs there was a fee Rs. 100 on weekdays and Rs. 150 on weekends. Since we were ordering, we’d visit the dogs straight away. I wouldn’t say it’s worth paying only to pet dogs. Bangalore’s got the Cubbon’s dog park, doesn’t it?
Talk about Dogs
Food was secondary to us. We had really come to Snoopy Paws Cafe to play with the cuties. Then we realized they actually charged to let us in the dogs’ fence. Moreover, we were there on a Saturday, a weekend which charged extra. So we decided to pay a couple of bucks more and get some food along with it.
During the waiting time, we were allowed to get on the fence. The moment I got in, a cocker spaniel came too close to me so I knelt down to embrace it… and it turned around and ran away. Later I got to know that its name was Carin and it kept running around in circles, avoiding everyone.
There was so much energy in Carin. So much that it had no idea where it was headed. When throwing a tennis ball at it, it took a long time to find out that the ball lay right in front of it. It was the most amusing thing I’d seen. And then there were the huskies.
Late 2023: I visited the Snoopy Paws once again around the afternoon with friends. That’s when I realized that the perks of visiting on the peak days is you get to meet most dogs. When we visited on a lazy weekday afternoon, the place was empty, so were the dogs resting away inside. Only 4 or so doggos along with Carrin were out.
The Huskies
When I saw their site, it mentioned there were three huskies. But I just met Bella and Blossom. I’m not sure if it was Blossom, but I clearly remember Bella. For one, Bella was definitely the most energetic one- not to mention possessive.
The moment she got a tennis ball, she wouldn’t return it! And then the other husky was a lazy one with an IDGAF attitude. Or at least when we were there.
Snoopy Paws Cafe Review: The other Doggies
Bond, the Saint bernard was there alright, except it was kept locked up in its cage for some reason. And then there was Shadow with a stallion-like posture. A very healthy retriever if you ask me. I do remember seeing the pugs, however, that memory is unfortunately faint. Did I mention I forget a lot?
We still weren’t tired of playing when they called us out for the food. And off we went.

Food: The Pasta
The heading was supposed to be ironic just in case. But all we ordered was pasta. It had a long name on the menu and we assumed that this would take a long time to prepare. The longer the time to prepare, the more we could play with the dogs. We planned it all out before we went in, of course.
But to the point, the pasta was damn delicious! We just ordered a single bowl of it, around 250 rupees – but it was enough for both of us guys. Well, I ate a little more obviously. And that was it for our evening.
Playing with dogs just before sunset and then having a finger-licking good meal after, what more could one want for a fine evening? Now, even had the hint of a thought of visiting Snoopy Paws Cafe? I don’t think you should stop! Check out other reviews on Zomato!
Snoopy Paws Cafe Review: Tailpiece
That sums up this post on the Snoopy Paws cafe review. In 4 years of my engineering in Bangalore, I’ve been to the cafe for 3 times or so. Living on the northern outskirts towards Yelahanka in Bangalore, it is quite near to where I stay.
However, it’s far for someone living in the city. The ambience of cozy tires used for seating, lightings, and gravel for floor is something to look forward to. As for food, it’s great enough to have a feast here but I’ve never craved to order it home.
I’d say the cafe is great for a change, a place to chill out, or even better – a date. The food does get expensive. But compared to Bangalore’s resto chains like Truffles, I’d say the pricing is moderate here. And of course, the dogs are something definitely to look forward to!
